Relaxed terrace dining
Restaurant More is located at Hotel More on the Lapad Peninsula, with a terrace overlooking Lapad Bay and the Adriatic.
We visited during our time in Dubrovnik in June 2026. After several meals inside the Old Town, dinner here offered a quieter evening beside the water and a different side of the city.
As Hotel More’s main sea-facing restaurant, it is particularly convenient for hotel guests, but the setting also makes it worth considering for anyone staying in Lapad or Babin Kuk.
The setting
The terrace is the main reason to reserve a table at Restaurant More.
It sits above the water in Lapad Bay, with views across the coastline and the Adriatic. The atmosphere is quieter than dining in the Old Town, while still being easy to reach from the historic centre.
We arrived in time to enjoy the changing light across the bay. I would recommend doing the same, as the view is an important part of the experience and is best appreciated before the evening becomes completely dark.
The food
The menu combines Mediterranean cooking with regional Croatian dishes and more familiar international choices. Fish, seafood and meat all form part of the restaurant’s wider offering.
We started by having the Dalmatian prosciutto and Pag cheese, served with pickled vegetables, sun-dried tomatoes and olives.
It gave the meal a distinctly Croatian opening and worked well as a light starter before the pasta.
For the main course, we ordered the green tagliatelle with salmon and asparagus, served with cream and dill.
The dish was straightforward and well suited to the setting, with the green pasta, salmon and asparagus making it substantial enough for dinner without feeling too heavy.
Wine and drinks
We accompanied dinner with the house white wine. It worked well with both the prosciutto and cheese and the salmon pasta, while remaining light enough for a warm evening on the terrace.
The atmosphere
The atmosphere is calmer than dining inside Dubrovnik Old Town, with less pedestrian movement and more space around the restaurant.
The restaurant feels polished but relaxed, and the view across Lapad Bay makes it particularly well suited to dinner around sunset.
Best for
Restaurant More suits travellers looking for a quieter dinner away from Dubrovnik Old Town.
It is especially convenient for guests staying at Hotel More or elsewhere in Lapad and Babin Kuk, and works well for couples looking for Mediterranean food and a sea-facing table around sunset.
Final note
Restaurant More works best when dinner is timed around the setting. The Mediterranean menu suits a relaxed evening, while the terrace and views across Lapad Bay give the experience its strongest character.
For guests staying at Hotel More, it is a natural choice for dinner. For travellers based elsewhere on the Lapad Peninsula, it is worth considering for a quieter evening beside the water.
